I can smoke yet I'm not a smoker?
this question is just out of a matter of interest, but im 16, i go to parties a lot and drink a lot but i've always hated cigarettes, although many of my friends smoke.

anyway, a couple times when ive been realllly drunk a friend or someone has passed my a cigarette and i'd smoke it- but on your first smoke, especially
because i was inhaling deeply, aren't you meant to cough or something? i wast wondering out of curiousity why i didnt even give the slightest of coughs....

I never coughed either. You were drunk and thats how I started. I'm tellin you from experience, man, don't start. With the climbing prices and the harm it does to you it ain't worth it. Hardest addiction to quit too. I've quit for about 6 months and I still want a cig. It just ain't worth it.

oh god i know i hate cigarettes, always have always will. have never had the urge to smoke!


that's why my friends put one in my mouth, they were taking the piss. and i'll admit it is pretty funny, the amount of times i go on rants about how much i hate them. makes me look like the biggest hypocrite EVER lol

but they've stopped now, they've only done it to me about 3 or 4 times.

I started when I was drunk too. That was the only time I would smoke. Next thing you know I boght a pack and now I wish I never would have started.

anyway that sucks man! no, i know for a fact i'm never gonna get into them. my friends were doing this to me last year and they've stopped so whatever.
my best friend though began smoking loads and i asked her to stop before she got addicted (she reeked of it so bad), she said she would and i was like ''don't tell me you're gonna quit unless you actually are, and only quit if YOU want to quit it's your decsion, but i just want you to know i really dont like you smoking''

and she said she would, but then the next day at a party she was at it again and i was just pissed off at her for lying to me because she never had before. but i made such a point of being dissapointed in her for lying over etc she actually has given up and hasn't touched one since.

i hear you! i know that myself most my friends are smokers, i just hate it.
too many people in my family have died of lung cancer for me to even consider smoking one more cigarette. i didn't want to in the first place, i was just really drunk and wasn't thinking. and i'm normally pretty controlled even when i am drunk!

i live in ireland! not allowed to drive for another two years lol


plus i dont want to own a car till after university, because all my lazy ass bum friends will make me drive them everywhere. i live next to a perfectly good public transportation system.


and anyway, all parties i go to i either stay the night or get about 3 guys to walk me home :P
