High school drop out?

Ok so heres the thing, I am going to be a junior in high school next month but I failed all of my classes in 9th and 10th grade, it was not because I am dumb...I actually have above normal intelligence, I know all of the material they teach. ( I was having personal conflict at home and had to deal with a lot of stress making it hard to focus on school work)

My question is- should I just drop out and get my G.E.D or try to make up all of those credits?
Do you think it's normal?

Above normal intelligence? What the hell are you doing on IIN?
how will you be a junior if you have failed 2 years in a row? How the hell did you even fail 2 years in a row?
@ slackjawedyokel

My district doesn't hold students back until senior year, and like I said I was having problems at home and I was barely at school once a week.
no ged means you were too lazy, cracked out of it, or pregnant to finish high school. They say its the same... but colleges and jobs look at them as a sign of laziness, and the inability to complete a job. For some people that's all they can do, but unless you are borderline retarted you should get a diploma.

Just do it, do all your work, go to all your classes, show your teachers that you want to learn, and are working fairly hard, and they will pass you. extra credit helped me graduate big time!
