me and my height
hey I'm 16 and I'm only 5'6 which is tiny i really would like to get taller especially that my girlfriend is taller than me which can be very embarrassing i am not late at puberty or anything i just don't seem to get taller is this normal? will my height catch up with me? or am i always going to be small

yeah you should shoot up in a year or two BUT The big thing is genetics if your dad or other men in our family are 5 '6'' id not expect to be a 6 1/2 footer or anything like that.

If your father is 5'8", you likely will be about the same height, add or take an inch. You still have a few years to continue growing height wise. Height is nothing to be embarrased over, it matters little unless you are competing in professional sports. You already are taller than the average woman in the USA (5'4"), so quit worrying.

You don't stop growing until 21 years old. I'm 6'4 and have been for a while now, i don't think i'll be growing any more as i am 32.

5'6 isn't that short. i'd say youre definitely gonna grow at least another inch before you turn 20. guys stop growing at about 20, and there are plenty that grow around 3 inches after turning 16 so dont worry--and get a lot of sleep, thats whne you do the most growing
