Pingu - depressing?
When I was a kid there was a show called Pingu with a little claymation penguin who'd get into various mischief. However he'd seem to end up crying in almost every episode. I know the animators probably wanted kids to empathise with Pingu but the show always left me with an odd feeling of sadness. Watching an episode now I still find it depressing.

I can watch much more sinister things and feel fine, but seeing a penguin cry his guts out seems to bring me down. Is it normal to find Pingu depressing?

yes, i remember that show, and he always used to honk instead of talk. dont need to take it so far as to get depressed tho, its just the brainchild of a bunch of pinged swedes, remember that
