Report him to school authorities, go to a school counselor or better yet directly to the principal. When scheduling an appointment and asked what the issue is regarding, say it is a "private issue", say no more until you meet the principal or counselor in private too. Realize you likely will not be living with your father after an investigation is conducted, but what he is doing is abusive and very abnormal. You don't need to have bruises to report abuse. I think that there is some confusion about spanking because of all the "It's abuse" "No, it's just disapline" crap that is going on. If you father was brought up by parents who spanked him that is probably what he believes in. Until you are either 18 or you emancipate yourself, you are legally under the control of your father and mother. It is not abuse unless you are spanked for no reason and there are bruises and such, it is simply your father's method of disapline. Well, I will tell you how my mother viewed the whole subject when I was growing up. "Act like a chid and show the responsibility level of a five year old and you will be dealt with as such." You see the point? A person is to be dealt with and punished according to the age level they are acting at the given moment, not their biological age. So if person is 16 and acting or showing the level of responsibility of a five year old, then they will be dealt with and punished as such.
