I got a letter from my son last week. It read as follows:

Dear Mum,
Have none, Send some, love son.
Is this a normal letter from a colege kid to his mum?

I think it is normal. I got a similar one many years ago from my son. I replied :-

Dear lad,
Too bad, so sad,
Love Dad.
