when you thnk about it your a dumbass for writting this
Because you shoudn't stand up to god. Ever. Even when he asks you to kill the one son he gave you in the first place. Cause he is never wrong. (except for that time he made every living thing in the world die exept for a lazy drunkard, his stupid family, and the san-diego zoo.
mi friend, there are many religions. in mine of Shadowism, mine is Kageyumi, the light of death!!
The bible is not supposed to make sense, its supposed to give us morals and blueprints for being pious people- and it does a shit poor job of that.
god is a cunt
Religion is merely an instrument to give some power and rightchessness over others and part us from out money. Politics is of the same ilk. Remove politics and religion from the world and it would be a peaceful joyous place to live.
yes youre right.in the old testament God sometimes appears preening and jealous.supposedly satan was cast out because he was jealous of God but if God was God what did he have to fear from an underling that the Bible clearly tells us was not nearly as powerful as God?

Of course when you try an analyze a book of myths and fairy tales like the Bible with rational and common sense it just wont work. That is why so many religious people hate science.
Death is defined as the end of life.

But is it really the end? Science does not know for certain, but many of us think we know through our various faiths. The end of life has fascinated mankind since the dawn of time. It's hard to face the unknown, and many people feel that religion rose from that fear, a way to cope with it, and to feel better when those we love pass away. I am not saying religions are right or wrong, just that they serve a fundamental purpose... To help us deal with the reality of death.
Animals, plants, every living thing moves in cycles. All are born, live then die. Death is a natural part of existence, even the planets, stars and galaxies pass away. Suns burn out, planets go cold, it seems the cycle of being, then not being, spares nothing in the universe.
Since everything seems to have a reason, we must assume that death has a reason. Plants produce various traits to survive, like thorns, or bitter flavors, even poisons to prevent death. Animals abound with natural defenses, from the blow fish that puffs up to look bigger, to the deadly poisonous frogs to prevent being eaten. Why is life so closely guarded if it's inevitable that it will end? The reasons may be beyond the reach of science, but it is the very core of spirituality. All of spiritually is dependant on one fundamental concept, the study and understanding of what happens when we die.
Spiritandsky.com is a spiritual knowledge repository. Articles and links about everything that fascinates and inspires us to live and die with some form of understanding or faith about the topic.
When does human death actually take place?

Throughout history there have been many attempts to define the exact moment of death. This has always proven to be problematic. Death was once considered to be the cessation of the heartbeat and of breathing. Life support, CPR and other life saving methods have rendered this incorrect. The most common form of defining death today is brain death. This is the most accurate form of calculating the moment of death because the brain is the most essential organ of the body, and without it's function, no life can exist.
So you see Oco, you don't really exist because you have no brai
Every person has a set of genes.
a gene is the smallest inheritable unit.
You either get a gene or you don't, nothing in between.

In every new generation, the genes of the mother are mixed with the father, with some random shuffling included.
Sometimes bad genes from the father get left out, sometimes good genes get left out.
But the important thing is that in every generation this individual... this set of genes gets tested for performance.

If this testing of performance of various sets of genes stops, so will our biological development.
And we will basically just start waiting until another tribe will take us out.
A tribe which is continually developing.

Throughout all of our evolution, supply of food was limited. There was only enough food for so and so many people to go around.
And if the elders would never die, there would be far less food to raise up new generations.

So tribes where the elderly died off every so and so years evolved faster, and eventually took over the world.

That's why we die.
Oco, a serious question for you. I can find Shadowism, but the word Kageyumi is not recognised. Would you care to check the spelling please and advise? I hate to be in ignorance so always check anything I am unaware of.
@: nearly
i created a religion called shadowism, i am the first preist!!!
@: nearly
nothing is certain about death, you are right!
ignostistism.....thought it was dead
@: nearly
nearly, you said that death is defined as the death of the brain- but there are holes in that definition- there animals without brains, plats have no nervous system, etc. And in the future, brain death may not be considered the end at all, stel cell research may actually be able to give rise to ways to rejuvinate the brain.
