Wat is ur thought of a 24yr old with a 17yr old
Hmm..yes well i am a 16yr old girl, nearly 17 and i have been friends with this guy that a have become quite fond of, he is 24, we want to go out and see each other officially. But the outrage of my family worries me very much, has they are very traditional. I have told him i cant promise anything, but we really like each other.
I just really need some honest thoughts, opinions or advise on the subject... peoples Help!

Go for it. The age difference isn't so great. As for your family, once they see you are serious AND happy, they will come round. I am quite sure that you are sensable enough to differenciate between like and love. Just remember to be safe. If he wants to have sex, make sure you insist he uses protection.

chances are at 16 youre not thinking with your head but with your groin.be careful that you dont start a life of loooking for love by having meaningless sex with every guy who comes along.and id especially not start with a guy who could be a pedophile.

There is a school of thought which claims that the female of our species is 7 years in advance in the maturity stakes to the male. So a difference of 7 years is, (my oppinion only) appropriate.
