Sounds illegal as well as unmanageable. I have five of the critters myself and it probably costs me over $600 a year for food, litter, vet bills, etc.
Isn't there a humane society or animal rescue organization who can help out? If nothing else, there are low-cost spaying and neutering clinics available to put an end to any unwanted future pregnancies. If these cats are all of breeding age and only half of them are female, you're looking at increasing your population more than six-fold in the next year alone.
Lol. I think you should have a nice charity sponser event to see how many cats you could give away to good homes. However 78 is a bit too many. Honestly.
Its vary unfair to the cats,fleas/tape worms/round/whip/ring worm and viruses ect. When a flea jumps in your food and you eat it then you will have tape worms too.Do all the kitties have thir shots and spayer or nutured.sorry but your people are compleatly crazy, cat overcrouding=cruelty ish yuk you cant take proper care of that many cats.what does your house n you smell like p u give me your location so i can call the spca on you.and your people have mental illness get away from them asap.

There's a lot of unwanted pets in the shelters because of unwanted breeding.
