A 29-year-old sex offender pretended to be 12 in order to enrol at a school in the US, police have said.
Officers in Arizona suspect Known as Slackjawedyokel wanted to get access to classrooms in order to snare children for sex.
They also said Slack' had conned two men he was living with - and having sex with - into believing he was a young boy.

One of them, 61-year-old Nearly Stiffler, pretended to be Slacks grandfather when he tried to enrol him at Mingus Springs Charter School as "Steve Tobre."

Slack convinced Nearly Stiffler and Bobby Stiffler, 43, he was a boy after meeting them two years ago over the internet.

He apparently shaved his body hair and used make-up to keep up the pretence.

The men were "very upset" when told they had been having a sexual relationship with a man and not a boy, Sheriff's spokeswoman Susan Quayle told ABC News.

"This is the weirdest case I've seen in 18 years," she added. "If it wasn't so sad it would be funny."

A total of four men were accused of offences including fraud, forgery, identity theft, and failure to register as a sex offender over the case.

It was unclear whether Slack had actually attended any schools.
