We have wars to get rid of large amounts of the human race. There are also famines, floods, earthquakes, avelanches etc not to speak of the health issues which kill millions daily. Nature has her own way of dealing with it's problems.
You meantime must follow your instincts. If you do not wish to breed, fine, but don't feel COMPELLED to take that road. Do what YOU feel is right for you.

I completely agree. I'd say it's more self-preservation than self-destruction. Sex, love, and having kids makes people crazy. It's a well known fact.

Do you think your life is worth something?

Do you think that it is better that you exist than if you dont exist?

If the answer is yes then you have a reason to believe that that will be the case to whomever you give life to in the future.

Population growth grinds to a halt when countries industrialize.

And the world is more or less industrializing.
It is expected that population growth will be zero at around the middle of this century.

And also, its possible to produce just about an unlimited amount of food on this planet, if we felt like doing so.
