It is normal to believe in God for your formative years and I see no real problem with that. Once you are old enough and have some experience of life, no, it is not normal in my view because you see that religion is one of the biggest causes of human conflict, misery and suffering.

actually christianity teaches that.it teaches that we all have part of god in us(soul) and if we reach heaven we will become immortal like god.also the new testament in some places refers to followers of jesus as 'the saints'.
