I still get spanked is this normal?

Iam 13 years old and I get spanked by my parents,I came home late last night and my dad made me pull down my pants and he spanked me,is this normal?I hate getting spanked because Iam too old and its embarssing

Maybe it is for you but if your dad is a pervert he will not be embarassed. Anyway, that is physical abuse and he can be charged for it. It could also be construed as sexual abuse so he wants to be very careful.

the only physical abuse is if he wails on you with a whip or a belt... and you suffer damage from the spanking other than redness......like broken bones, fat lips, bloody noses, excessive bruising..etc.....learn from it.

Jeeze, I believe grounding is within that age group, not spanking, make them feel uncomfortable if they are making you feel uncomfortable, if your a girl say 'dad you know I like have my period and breasts now, I don't think this is ok!' or better yet 'Ohhh that felt good, again, again' Or you could just tell him it's out and that he needs come up with a different punishment. (the first two suggestions is joking btw)

Oh, I quite agree with you. I was not saying one way or the other. My personal belief is that if they deserve it they get it. However, the LAW states that it is physical assault. It could be seen as sexual assault because he make her pull down her pants, and would almost certainly be seen as mental torture AS THE LAW STANDS. Therefore it is wrong weather I think so or not.
With a bit more parental discipline, we might, just might get our kids to look at things somewhat differently. They have no fear of anything because they know that no adult can touch them without facing court proceedings. THAT is what is wrong these days.

Well, I wouldn't want to chance my hand spanking some of the under 18's you see these days. They are built like brick shithouses and could likely drop you with one hit if they had a mind to.
