I knew a gay catholic guy once. He was so messed up it was unreal. He is happy now because I basically told him what slack said above and he ditched both the church and his family. He came to live with me for a while til we could sort something permanent out. No, before the smart asses say it, we did not have sex. He was in need of support and I gave him it. He is now a very happy man.

One no religion should say if it's ok to be gay or not MOST OF THE TIME IT'S NOT YOUR CHOICE. Two England isn't homophobic :) at least where i lived wasn't, go there. Three you shouldn't give a shit what your parents think about it, you are what you are if they can't accept you being gay then they are bad parents (no offense). Four THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING GAY ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE FUCKS THEIR MUMS AT NIGHT. Five don't let your religion hold you back of being gay, organized religions are like that they tell you what you should believe, if you stand by something YOU believe is right that's fine but if you stand by something your parents, brother, sister, friends, or priest tells you is true then that is completely wrong.
