Is It Normal?
What do you think?
dumb
Hey everybody.
I have a question.
Why is that when cops are chasing criminals or sneaking up on them they turn on their sirens?
The same goes with someone thats being robbed or beaten or anything. The people at the bank will say "Stop or I'm calling the poilce, Ok, I've called the police!" I mean why can't they be sneaky about it? Do they thik the criminal will not flee or even kill them?
Why is it when I watch a movie, someone is about to be attacked from behind, seemingly a sneak attack, then RAAHHH, the person starts screaming just before they reach the attackie?
I mean is it me?
Shouldn't these people just remain quiet until their job is done?
Am I normal?

Um,
1. They have their sirens on because they want cars to get the hell out of their way.
2. When you're calling the cops, you want the "bad guy" to know that you did. That way, he'll start running instead of continuing to beat you up or what-not.
3. The main point of a police force is to prevent criminals from hurting people, catching criminals is secondary.

And horror movies, are just crap.
I think cops should do a sneak attack as well.
oh my god
dude i know, ive always said that to my fricking uncle and everyone around me, even some cops. i tell everybody in my school"why do cops always turn on there sirens when they are trying to get somebody, everyone knows that the crooks gonna run if he or she hears it. man. some cops are just fucking idiots, excuse my french(i totally agree with you man. from manuel aka mcspickey001.
if you wanna talk to me about it email me at mcspickey001@yahoo.com or im me at mcspickey001@yahoo.com.
All my cop experiences have involved them sneaking up. If they want to sneak, they sneak. If they don't want to sneak, they turn on the sirens. End of story.
Technically, you can't really count movies with cops in them. Cause, if you've ever noticed, a lot of things are just stupid or dumb, or totally wrong compared to real life in movies.

And, yes, the cops turn on the sirens for other cars to get out of the way. Although some don't and that I find even dumber.

What I've always wondered is why do the criminals run or flee when they know they'll just get caught? Or why some people start driving away from cops when they only have a taillight out?

"If you run, you'll only go to jail tired."

-A.
That means a movie is a movie and reality is a reality.
Have u ever seen a rob in a bank?
And to sum up...
how can u realize that a cop is not using the siren? U only remember cops with sirens, cause u don't look at those that are sneakin around (cause they are sneakin, aren't?)
u look retarded
I hate sneaky cops, noisy cops rule.
Dude i know what you're saying i hate that im always watching a move like hes gonna get him ,........ DAMNIT HE TURNED ON THE SIRENS HE WONT CATCH SHIT NOW....(feeting hitting the ground) OHH GREAT now hes on a foot pursuit yelling out STOP STOP..... yeah buddy thats gonna help, hes gonna get 5-10 years if he stops just run and stop wasteing your breath
Movie*
So cars move their ass.
You're normal lol, of course they shouldnt do that, but in a movie, if the police just cought them.

Well, thats it really, theres no more story of them getting away or anything lol.
Actually if a cop is speeding to catch a criminal and their siren isn't on other people in cars can call the department and report them for reckless driving. The siren tells other cars to get out of the way for an emergency and it also tells the cars that there is a reason for them driving like that. So cops who use a siren don't want to risk the chance of getting reported.
are u talkin bout movies or talkin from experience
