I have said it before and I will say it again.
Before I made nearly's profile, I spent a week reading the majority of old posts on this site. As I went along I noted the things which bought forth the most comments, be they good, bad or indifferent. I put what I considered to be the best of the best for getting reactions into my profile. My plan was twofold.

1) To get reactions from the idiots.

Well, you have seen the results of that yourself. They just can't resist.


2) To take the heat off others who are less able to handle it.

Again, I personally think I have succeeded in that aim because the majority of the hate withing this site is now directed at "nearly"

Have you ever heard of people who work with those infected by HIV? Would they not be in a position to have great knowlege of the disease? The reason HIV was bought into the profile was to make people aware of it and hopefully assist at least some to understand a little and maybe, just maybe, save a few from getting it. If that has worked, and I believe that to be the case, then it was an exercise well worth the effort.
Getting people to dislike me kept me in the lime light and kept HIV in topic. Those who have been reading these posts will have a lasting memory of it. Thats to the good in my eyes.
