Different situations make different people teary eyed. It's called having a personality. Perfectly normal.

but really those parts you descibe in those movies are tearjerk moments. often I finds my self laughing at strange times in movies, so anyway that is normal, and don't forget that the big lebowski is the best movie ever, ever, ever.

I have the dvd and watch it frequently. The Dude is quite the no nonsense overreactive person, laid back. As I wish many were.

I cry at the touching/sad scene.

my all time favorite scene. i get a bit misty as well. not cause its sad but cause of how the hobbits were so humble. remember the meek shall inherite the earth

im a dude and i will sometimes tear up,even if my friends are there, i was watching madmax,stars mel gibson. he has a wife and kid and a biker gang kills them. mel is left all alone on the baren waste land of a road. hes a cop. he gets the pursuit special which has a supercaherged v8 with a blower(i wish i had that car) so he gets his car and kills the biker gang and he is all alone.roaming the earth with no emotion and he remembers his kid and everything thats happened to him and he starts to cry. thats when i start to cry,i tell my friends "man i would kill my self if that happened to me, i couldnt live on.....sniffle....runny nose" my friends just look at me like im a fricking crack head, i say"you guys just dont understand.
after that we watched christine its a movie about a 1956 plymouth fury. it has a mind of its own. well this geeky kid sees this car its all crappy and busted up. but he likes it, he thinks of the car a s himself. archie says"i think ive found something uglier than me...she can be fixed up....yeah" he buys the car and it talks back to him when he fixes it back up.some douchebags demolish the car and he see it and starts to cry and yell.. so he stays at the garage he keeps it at and says.....well fix you good christine, no shitters can get in our way. So he turns around and picks up a wrench and christine puts her carbureators back to gether and her air cleaners. archie turns back and see its back to hoew it was before. he says ok show me. christine car lights come on and you hear this erie music and christine puts her self back together. then archie says when she completes putting her slef back to gether, we will get those shitters. he kills alot of people and then his friend tries destroying the car ad archie tries to ram the car in to his old girlfriend and flysout the windshield and gets christine in him, hes bleeding bad and is about to die,hes in front of the grill and starts to touch the eneblem of the plymouth and rubs it against his fingers, christine sees him doing this and then arichie dies, christines lights go out. i start to cry very quiet ly and then christines lights come back on and a sad song from the 50s comes on and christine starts to kill everyone but ends up getting crushed by a bulldozer. her lights go out and shes silent. i just let all my crying out and say,why!!!why her!!!shes just a car!!! she didnt do anything wrong,!!!shes just sad, he was the driver and she was the car.!!!they were a team. my friends hit me in the back and say(dude its just a ovie, chill out...) ok but she was just a car.... thats all have to say, i like cars alot and sad movies about cars killing people and biker gangs kiling people.

It is fking normal, man! :) Don't worry ... U actually feel that moment , wich means that u have a strong imagination .. And that that moments touches u it is good, cuz u did not loose sense that many of other people had. Don't forget that such feelings are part of human nature , and personaly, i'm not clear at all why alot of people are trying to kick those feelings out of they lives. Ps. im a guy too , so fking what?

i bawld during the last scenes from the last sam. from when the dudes brother sacrifices himself to save the dude, all the way till the end. not just a dribble, total gush. oh ya, twice. i cant watch it again, i get too emotional.

lol well okay .. i cry during "appropriate" aka sad times. butttt i also cry during scary horror films. my friends say its not normal because i will just BURST out and bawl when i see, say, samara (from the ring)'s fugly face popping up on screen. i think its only normal for babies to cry during scary films, no?
