What do you think?
City vs. Country
DaBIGcheese here!

I was born in a city and have lived in the city all of my life. I am a pretty relaxed guy myself and can't stand large crowds and all that. Well basically put, I'm not much of a city guy, it just seems that everything is rushed, everything is in a hurry..sometimes it pisses me off, lol. One day I want to live in the countryside like in Virginia or North Carolina where it is beautiful. But I still want to have all the commodities of the city like a computer, lol. But thats about it. I love the outdoors and hiking and biking and a whole bunch of things.

Anyone else feel that way? Anyone agree?

Thanks!

i like the country, but not to really live there it's get kind of boring after awhile.I live in the country now,and it's ok. i just wonder what it would be like to live smack dab in the middle of a huge city at times.Plus they always seem to build condos, and department stores like old navy in small country towns now. i like malls and i like to eat out,but i also like the countryside.i like strawberry fields, and the woods.so i guess i'd have to say i love them both equally.

I LIVE IN A CITY , WHERE YOUR NEIGHBORS
CAN LOOK RIGHT INTO YOUR HOUSE , THATS
WHY I GOT MY DRAPES PINNED SHUT , NO ONE CAN LOOK IN , DISCREET HERE.
Upon retirement, I looking forward to moving to a cave with no forwarding address. Very, VERY far away from anything even remotely human. Just the cats and the guinea pig, and me.

But since I'll probably need gas and groceries every now and then, I'd like to live on the north coast (California) near Mendocino. The only drawback is the lack of much sunlight, as it's often very foggy. But I'm completely fed up with the 100-plus degree temperatures where I live now, so I'm thinking a little greyness never hurt anybody.
I would like to live in the country if there was employment opportunties in my field available. SO I guess my main reasons has to be employment and family.
I love the steel to tell the truth. Cant go wrong with the complete numbness of urbanity, quite comforting really. Country, just way too boring, can you die of isolation in the country? More than likely yes.
Well I guess as you grow older you start to appreciate the simple live not living the rat race.

Most of our adult lives we spend working.... reality at it's lowest.
Yeh, i guess. On the spot i think I'll drop from 15 weeks of holidays now to 2 @ work, kinda disconcerting lol
ehhh... anywhere but here in suburbia
I use to live in city.thought that was it.i live in Fl. now and love it .im 10 min away from city thats good for me!
