Arrggghhh -- I hate it when the words get scrambled here. It's "raison d'etre."

You have a point; I'm guilty of projecting my own style on others at times. I LOVE finding words that I don't understand, but that's because I probably read the dictionary more than any other book. My background as a classical musician, in which one must learn a bit of Italian, German, and French to follow instructions on tempo, volume, and so forth, also contributed to my interest in language in general.

I used to have a gig on America Online as a volunteer at a writers forum called Dan Hurley's Amazing Instant Novelist (long since defunct). For several years, I followed some outstanding writers and picked up a few tips for my own work. I don't flatter myself that I'm particularly good at it, but I do greatly miss my work there now. Very much so since my current job requires absolutely none of the skills I do best.

So this place has been become my new "raison d%u2019être". God only knows why.

If this is a sincere question, there's a point at which you stop asking complete strangers about things like this. Your friends probably aren't going to be a lot of help either, because many of them are probably unhappy with their bodies as well.

Please talk this over with your doctor or gynecologist. You can also read some books and/or look up some articles on the web that deal with puberty. What you need is impartial, accurate information from someone who really understands these things, not a bunch of prurient remarks from some brain-dead buffoons.

As for the excess hair, that sort of thing is often the result of cultural heritage. Luckily, that's something you can remedy a number of different ways.

Good luck to you!
