failing below average level at grammar school

I am seriously failing at grammar school. At comprehensive school i was sawing above national average but now at grammar school i am plummeting below. My mum says she will not give me any more money (the ONLY money i get) if i so much as try to leave again and my dad says it depresses him talking about it and he knows im not trying, whe im trying harder than ever before. It has also ruined my social life, my school is all girls so i dont have much contact with boys any more. I have had to move house and dont have any friends in my area. Please help!!!
Do you think it's normal?

Does your mom know that you visit this vile house of bastards, bitches and buffoons? Any advice we could offer you on your education would be less than worthless.

Besides, you're probably just a 30-year-old guy with too much time on his hands.
Nope this is me im 14 i live in england, wolverhapton and my mum and dad are seperated so my mum lives in london...
hang in there, if u hav a job (ur profile says ur a waitress, so......) u should be getting some cash. im no expert but id say it would be better to stay away from the city 4 the moment, and concentrate on education.
with ur dad make a real effort to show that u try hard, do ur school work infront of him, ask him 4 help, that kind of stuff

Aha. Your educational system is a little different than ours in the US. Here, grammar school comprises first through sixth (or seventh) grades; middle (or junior high) school is seventh through ninth or eighth through ninth; and high school is ninth through 12th.

But I still stand by my original advice. As you can see from your responses (except for Footfan's), this place shouldn't be your first (or even last) choice when seeking advice. On ANYTHING. And particularly, anything having to do with using your brains.
