Why are there soooo many ignorant people around. America is getting worse and worse everyday. As my Canadian friends call us Americans "Yankee Rednecks" by God they are right eh... God Bless America. We need it. No wonder the majority of the civilized world hate us. We are arrogant, rude, snotty and most of all narscists. Very self absorbed winey, cry babies with no respect for anyone. Except of course ourselves. We are hard wired that way since we became a nation. We killed most Native Americans and now expect them to stay on a reservation. Maybe there right, If I was Native American I guess I wouldn't want to live in a crime ridden society. Pathetic!

Dammit, I really hate to agree with this. I love my country and I doubt I would ever want to live elsewhere -- but I do have some sympathy for those who have a negative view of us. Unfortunately, we are so far removed geographically from much of the rest of the world that many of us have no real concept of how the rest of the planet lives. And truth be told, too many of us don't really care.

Forgive my ignorance but I'm not American and I don't really understand what Native American people are. Where did they come from originally? I have heard of wig wams and cowboy/Indian films but what is the history?

Canada rocks, I agree with the poster.... sort of, but the united states is a great country, its made up of INDIVIDUALS, which means everyone is different, not everyone is like you described, yes some, maybe many but not all, its like that here in Canada
