No pain, No gain
"No pain, No gain"

No pain, no gain

A very different approach to relationships. Instead of what if's and becoming bitter about all past experiences I have had, maybe a new approach is neccessary in order to refrain from becoming a skeptic to what I think a relationship should be.

It works quite well in the physical realm, I can go to the gym and work those abs quite a bit, wake up the next morning so sore I can hardly move, and yet I go back to the gym that day and do it again with just slight hesitation. This is because I know in order to get the "stiffness" out I have to do it again. The benefits are that it makes me feel good as new again. In that respect it shows that I have put for effort into and I still keep going back, to work out because it obviously works.

So If I apply this approach to relationships it should work shouldn't it ?

Well, that is like saying if you cook a ham a certain way and it comes out extrodinarily well if you do the same to a turkey it will produce the same effect. It doesn't. So no, that same tatic most likely will fail in relationships.

Just don't try that on your imediate family members. You could go to jail OR have a hairless, deformed flipper-baby.And have to pay your sister child support.
