Voluntary Human Extinction

I can't see any disadvantages to destroying the entire planet while watching the blood and bodies drifting out into space so I can collect every bit of human DNA to fly it all directly into the sun with the purpose of preventing humans from ever living again. Is this normal?

we didnt start from long chains of dna anyway so destroying all human genomes doesnt necessarily mean no more humans ever.but a repeat would be a long shot .
