After all, maybe you are just in love with her to be in love. Try connecting with someone else and see how you feel. Your cousin might also not feel the same way also.

Being in love with someone doesn't mean it has to be sexual. I love my cousins. Sometimes thinking about a person brings a smile to my face. Doesn't mean there's anything sexual about it.

OK, looks like i may be the only compassionate person commenting on here...Yes it is normal to feel this way about anyone, including your cousin. And unlike the other here that try to make out like its a passing phase and you will be "in love" with someone else soon enough...ignore them. I'm not saying that you should get together coz that may cause a lot of family problems, but for your own peace of mind, dont worry about it. If it makes you happy to think about her then think away!

did you know that in a lot of cultures, not only is marrying your cousin ok, but preferred? and that in many states, it's not even illegal. it's just social convention that tells us we can't marry first cousins (but step grandparents are off limits). you're in love and good for you. if he makes you happy, then good for you. personally, grab him and run off to vegas or vermont ;) and tie the knot. won't that make xmas dinner scandalous!

as mentioned above, it is preferred to marry cousins. A study was launched to see if the western rumours of poor genetics etc was true. After about 3 Generations of cousin marrying the chance of inheritaining a genetic condition rise by about 1%.
