Liberal and proud of it.
Look up the word 'liberal' in your dictionary sometime.Im proud to be called liberal.Maybe you folks who claim to despise liberals should grow up and get educated before you make such rash statements.
Its bad enough to listen to older folks put down liberals but its really bad when I see the young kids in here putting down liberal thinkers without knowing even what the word means.Sadly youve been poisoned by your hate filled parents.
Being an American is more than labeling people you disagree with with disparaging words .Dig a little deeper and actually learn what things mean before you shoot your mouth off with silly tripe.
However in this case your lack of education actually makes me laugh because you use the word 'liberal' as a putdown,after hearing your parents and OReilly use it,but in reality calling someone a liberal who is one is taken by them to be the supreme compliment.
Look the word 'liberal' up sometime and you may stop labeling people with it when you understand we actually like to be called that.
I wouldnt want to be any other way but liberal.

A liberal is one who supports change. A progressive person, as opposed to the conservative "we need to maintain the status quo" person.
Don't liberals also use "conservative" as a bad word, too? "Conservative" is not inherently bad, either.
People on both sides of the coin can be irrational. There's nothing you can do to change it.
From reading the answers to some of the posts in here, I assume that the blacks and Mexicans are taking advantage of your welfare system. However, if these same backs and Mexicans apply for a job, they get refused. What do you expect them to do then, die? They do what they have to do to survive. Give them the jobs they apply for and get them off of welfare.
And now to this day, it's still freaking up to White America to wipe the worlds ass. If we don't, we'll get accused of oppressing the stupid bastards!
Of course, the government has to step in at some point due to one thing or another, like morality or externalities. It's just a debate over how much government involvement. I personally think that taxes have their uses, as long as we mind how efficient the tax is, considering that there is indeed a point of diminishing return (Laffer curve, etc). I agree welfare is not useless, but again, it's the fact that everyone differs on the opinion of what everyone should have.
Instead of paying for their war as they went they put it on credit cards and you and future tax payers will be paying a long time for this war.
so when someone raises your taxes in the future and they will,be he liberal or conservative,you can thank Bush and his free spending suporters for your burden.
and Im sure a labeler like yourself would call Bill Clinton a wild eyed liberal too,he left office having reduced the number of people on welfare and he left us with a budget surplus.
the surplus was wasted very quickly by 'conservative' GW Bush.
labels are meaningless as you will one day learn.
I don't believe in a nanny society, but at the very least, people shouldn't be at the brink of starvation to death or other similar woes.
The fed owes Social Securiy something like 1.8 TRILLION $$$$$$$
