I got my period today

And I wish I could get tampons in but I never can. I hate using pads, they are gross. I've read the instructions but can't do it still. Is it true you have to have sex first? Please be serious because I am.

a lot of girls mAKE THE MISTAKE OF NOT PUTTING the applicator in far enough.... try using a petite put the applicator in so the whole top half is inside up to the grip... then push as it says.... you shouldnt be able to feel it.... if you do.... its not in far enough.... practice

No, you can be a virgin.... most girls make the mistake of not putting them in far enough for fear of something. Put the applicator in slowly and until your fingers almost touch your area. then push it in... wait a few hours, not an hour or two, if you pull it out too soon, it will scratch you inside.
