Cable TV is Ignorant!

I am trying to find something to watch on TV tonight.

I find something unusual (And Usual) there are like three stations that have THE SAME FUCKING MOVIE on THREE TIMES IN A FUCKING ROW!

Does it make ANY sense whatsoever to have ANY movie on the same channel, three time in a row? In Sequence? It is bad enough that some stations have the same movie on three nights in a row (Pirates of the Carribian is on USA on the average of 47 times a month) but do we really NEED to have the SAME movie on back to back three and four times?

Betwen that and the fact that many of these movies run three fucking Hours (Funny, it was Two in the theater) and my guess is that someone in chage of programming has gotten REAL FUCKING LAZY!

I can't even write/phone to complain because the cable company says it is the networks that are responsible!!!!

PISSED OFF IN EXTREMIS

no, he has more respect to his Queen
I've become much happier since I discovered In Demand TV. I've found quite a few interesting documentaries, music videos, and movies of various genres (including the indies) to enjoy. Just today, I treated myself to "Bride of Reanimator", a wonderful horror cult classic. Now I've seen the complete Reanimator trilogy, and can die happy :-)

I think I meant, "On Demand", didn't I? Sorry; none too bright this evening...

You Continue to be a mystery to me Jan. You said someplace that you are in your late fifties - and you Like ReAnimator (And FYI, part 3 SUCKED! IMOHO!)

I thought people your age liked...well...more mundane forms of entertainment. (I am NOT attacking you Jan, I am just smart enough to know how dumb I am in some areas, like this one, methinks.)

Tobra - amazed and confused. :)

You have a very good point here. One of the reasons I've been reluctant to date (and make friends in general) is that I really don't fit in with my own age group very well. It's really tough to find anyone middle-aged who would really enjoy going to a Nine Inch Nails concert, for instance.

As for the Reanimator series, I liked Parts I and III; not so much Part II, Bride of Reanimator. I just love the recurring role of Dr. West, a truly demented evil scientist. Here's a guy who NEVER gets the serum quite right, yet he keeps plugging away; LOL. I also love the Evil Dead trilogy; just FYI.
