(I only want answers from chicks plz)

I am in love with this chick who I frequently talk to on AIM. She says she misses me over the thanksgiving break. She always tries to tell me about the drama at her job and she says she doesn't think I like it when she talks. I told her that I love it when she talks but that I think she should deal with her drama on her own.

Does this seem too harsh?
If not what should I have done?
