It is normal for some people to talk a lot. The fact that she talks to herself because she doesn't want to bother you, that is a different story. Listen to her, but help her to undertand that she does not need to tell every detail and help her learn to cut out some of the less important ones.

Sometimes it helps to run through a conversation in your head before talking to someone to collect your thoughts, but that seems a little much...

I do this alot myself because I like to know what I'm saying before I start the conversation but sometimes it helps not to talk to your friend and just talk to yourself it'll feel like you are talking to her because you talk so much to her and it'll make you feel better because you are having a conversation with yourself and with the voice and thoughts of your friend. So to me personaly I think it's normal!! Maybe i'm wacko.

i talk to myself out of habbit, i can reasure myself and makes me feel good. so nah

Me thinks you two are so close to each other just like sisters and as a bestfriend it should be your business to tell her wat you think. Doing it in private's ok but in public....that's just plain weird and dat's putting it mildly. I hope you tell her about it
