questionong religion
lately i have been really questioning my religion (babtist) and wondering if god really exists, but i still pray for my family and friends. is that normal? i'm not a bad person. i'm just really questioning everything in my life right now.
Oro, you've probably already figured this out, but you can ignore the "other" JanIAm. I have no idea who this guy is, but he's just having some fun playing make-believe. I still love you :-)
I grew up in a baptist church, and it's completely normal to question your own beliefs. I was an only child, after my mother passed,it was just me and my dad,and that church scarred me for life. Nobody took the time to try to reach out to me,as a teenager raised by a father who'd given up on life. I went to school there, and I had a horrible experience, everything I did to them was wrong, and religious people are so judgemental. I have now decided that I don't need religion, but I do carry my beliefs with me,I believe in God,but I do not think that church made me who I am today,or made me as conservative as I am,they just made me stronger. I could one day change as the years go by,but I will never believe in organized religion.
ALL religion is a scam.it only exists to mound guilt upon you to force you into giving money to it to ease that guilt.
Live your life as a thinking rational person without the encumbrances of religion and youll be a whole lot happier.
A relationship with The Creator is not religion. Too many people put more emphasis on their religion than the GOD that made us.

its not GOD's fault that a bunch of freaks make up their own rules in his name.
