SENTENCES, then Dog-fighting (not that i condone it) really shouldnt mention. ALthough, thats really a reflection on the justice system as a whole.

9 men raped a 10yo girl and will not be charged at all because the judge said the girl probably consented and it was just kids having fun. some of the boys were of age of consent. I might add this happened in an aboriginal community. Although I dont have any time for these useless black cunts it is still wrong

actually stewart went to jail.but i think vick got too long just for killing some dogs.until we can keep people in jail for killing other people or raping kids we shouldnt be destoying some guys life over some dog abuse.give the guy a fine and make him do some community service---which is the fine most of us would have gotten--and then leave hom alone and get the pedos off the street.


and vick still has state charges to face.his career is over and done with.his whole life destroyed over some dogs while we have pedos and murderers back out on the street that will rape and kill someone TODAY.

I'd like to know since when a 10 year old is capable of giving her consent. Surely you have to be knowlegable to consent and at 10 ywears old you are not knowlegable aboit sex. Also, why report it as a gang rape if consent is accepted? A lot stinks in this case. Here in the UK, it is statutary rape to have sex with anyone under 12 years old! That surely must also be the situation in this case?

When i was a kid,I remember my mom would never let me go outside for the longest time,because this man in our area stalked and raped 3 little girls,my mom knew the family of the guy who did it even. He eventually killed a child,got 2 years,got out and did it again,got away with it somehow. His last victim,the 9 year old girl that it ended up happening to called the police after being beaten merely to death, while the guy was preoccupied,but not quite finished with her yet. She ended up dieing,and her dad was a cop,I don't think they let him on the case,we all knew him very well, he ended up finding the guy,and killing him. Guess what the cop got? LIFE!! I guess it was because he was a cop,and it was dishonorable or something,but I will never forget that,and that proves how screwed up our court systems really are.

Well, I agree and disagree with your assessment. True, we can't equate his crime with the murder of a child or some other crime of violence against a human. But statistics bear out the fact that people who commit violent acts against animals, particularly as extreme as the acts committed against these dogs, are often the same folks who go on to commit crimes against humans. And as far as his career being ruined is concerned -- we'll see about that. Everyone seems to have a very short memory about things like this; it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him playing ball again upon his release, if someone's willing to possibly risk some initial bad publicity.

Bottom line: he knew it was illegal, he knew he was making these animals suffer, and moreover, he didn't have to torture and kill the ones who weren't good "performers." The guy's a punk, through and through. No sympathy from me whatsoever. It's just a shame that one of his fighting dogs didn't just turn on him and tear his throat out, thus saving the taxpayers the time and expense of the trial.

Yes Nearly that is the question the DPP is asking too it apears this judge was demoted for i9ncompetance and 160 other cases are being investigated as well to check their punishments

and i think the animals/human thing you relate is about serial killers who have had animal torture,bedwetting,sexual abuse history in their childhood-im not sure fighting dogs or cocks or bulls as an adult means you;ll hurt a human.

I'd still maintain torturing and killing animals for the sport of it is highly aberrant behavior. Guys like this have a way of also committing acts of domestic violence -- look at punks like OJ. Many of these jerks come up from the streets, but they never really leave the streets. It's natural for them to be in a game like football because it suits their already well-honed violent tendencies to begin with.

I do believe it's possible for many of these sports figures to become nice, civilized folks once they remove the gear, but some of them never do. They live in constant "aggression on" mode, and I think that the sports industry exploits this. This is one of the reasons that steroid abuse has not been more rigorously banned and controlled. They WANT these guys fighting mad much of the time, just like Vick wanted his dogs to be killers.

Come to think of it, with that in mind, I blame Vick's employers to some degree for what happened as well.

If he only had taken a knife and killed those dogs himself(by whichever means he finds most profitable) and then eaten them... he would be completely fine.

But nono, since he used another dog for it and then didn't eat the corpse, he gets years in jail.
