Is It Normal?
What do you think?
Whatever next America?
Now that the recent enquiry into drug taking in Baseball have been published, and it has been stated that the top 30 clubs have been turning a blind eye to players taking performance enhancing steroid drugs by players such as Bond and Clements, what do you guys think should happen?
Please bare in mind that this report also claims that as a result of their role models behaviour, 100's of 1000's of American school kids are now also taking said drugs.

its too late now.baseball knew what was going on years ago in regards to steroids.now after all the big offensive records are broken the big wigs in baseball are acting like they just discovered this problem.bud selig is a pussy .he wont do anything but continue to collect his pay check from baseball.

bonds is a pussy and so is roger clements.baseball is boring now.

Ted Williams is the greatest all around baseball player who ever lived.
What I don't get is why do these players use steroids. Yes it does make you stronger. But why do them? In baseball, it does not improve your hand/eye coordination when you swing the bat and it does not speed up your reaction time. It makes you stronger yes, but it also affects other parts of your body. That is exactly why you see many players get injured because the steroids increase your mass too much to an unhealthy size and your bones and everything else cannot take it and that's why you see so many injuries to players who take steroids. Its quite disgusting. I just wish one day most people will realize that steroids aren't right and that there is a way to be a great player without using steroids.

I generally respect players from before my time who DID NOT take steroids. They were the real heroes of baseball, they did not use performance enhancing drugs. Too bad those days are gone.

I am also fortunate that currently my team- the Cleveland Indians did not have any players on it who knowingly took steroids!
Your the real pussy here

-crank dat
This is a worldwide problem across all sports it is the pressure to win and the money that causes this. So stop paying them rediculous amounts of money and that will be one thing to help
I hate the sport. Its so boring it takes 10 minutes for a person to get off the plate whether they strike out foul out or get a hit. They say its the great american past time but yet football has a hell of alot more fans. Football is our nations top sport by far so in my opionion they should close it all down take all the money the sport has and send it to africa to cure aids. LoL yeah right they should buy nuclear weapons to bomb Iran then outlaw the sport from the nation. All those who took the roids should have all their money taken and made in a pile of one dollar bills then burned while them and their family watches then they would be sent to hard labor camps to work the next 20 years or possibly life. That should make kids say "maybe I shouldnt juice up or I will end up like those guys." Oh yeah and have CHEATER tattooed to their foreheads and RELATED TO A CHEATER on their families foreheads.
Base ball blows cunt, football!!!! Patriots perfect season...yay!!!

Regarding the practical use of steroids in sports; most athletes use them to recover quicker from injuries. Read an article once about drugs in sport and a doctor claimed that taking steroids can cut recovery time by 50% or more.

Whatever the use though. This just further proves what a fucken joke baseball is. Seriously stupid fucken game played by a bunch of inbred, constantly spitting, now confirmed as juiced, bunch of fat useless cunts.
Incredibly tough drug testing for steroids is the only way, if anyone steps out of line a bit, fuck them over, and fuck the team over aswell, deduct salary, suspend and take away team points

go yanks?
I get where you are coming from and I concur. But my team the Cleveland Indians did not have any players on it who knowingly took steroids and they didn't cheat. They won 96 games last year with just 66 losses. I mean if you think about it, like Cabinet said, steroids are a worldwide problem. I mean I think Baseball is being singled out right now because they are always the center of attention for steroid related issues. It happens in all sports and I don't think baseball should be looked down upon. Thats my opinion because I love the sport.
