But by far, I'd have to say the majority of the "offending stories" are posted by the very folks who object to having kids in their midst. I'm willing to bet, for instance, that much of the kiddie porn related stuff (the more articulate material, at any rate) is the product of adult minds. Ditto on the volumes of racial hatred material, gay baiting, fellow member insults, and so on. I'd prefer the younger ones stay off the grounds simply because: (1) they're required to be 18, as it states in the agreement, and (2) I feel that much of the material discussed in here really isn't that suitable for teens, and PARTICULARLY preteens. But the site's creator obviously has determined that he doesn't want a very active role with IIN, so we are pretty much stuck with what we've got.
