Bathroom Wank
While I was home alone I had a couple of wanks in the handbasin.

I cleaned it spotlessly and when I had visitors they commented on how shiny the basin was.

I replied I cleaned it twice because I wacked of in it. They were not impressed.

Is this type of honesty normal?

It's normal if you were looking for a laugh. If they were not close friends, their reaction was also normal. If they were close friends, one should seriously take into consideration there age, gender, sexuality, whether you want to stay just-a-friend, religion, politics, and culture into consideration. Making those kind of jokes with a new friend isn't normal, unless your pretty sure they like that sort of humor. If you seriously were just being honest, you aren't normal though.
