Polystirine Phobia
My sister finds the squeeking sond made by polystrine foam packaging phisicaly painful. She can not touch it, be in the same room as a mail order box beeing unpacked and finds the site of it toralt disgisting. it is an anthema to her. She has always had strange responses to some daterials, may things, such as velvet or fine wool, she cannot touch on the grounds they are "too soft" and therfore feel horrid. No other menbers of the family share this condition and i am at a loss as to what may be a phcological cuse for it.
Am not sure if it was only the Kosher ones so.
I am NOT Autistic and never do I have a compulsive disordered whatisnormal (1394) ! It happens to be “tactile defensiveness”
The root cause is neurological dysorganization in the midbrain region of the brain which is largely responsible for filtering incoming stimuli, and, may not adequately screen out all extraneous tactile stimulation causing the person to perceive the input as extreme and uncomfortable.

Firstly, learn to spell. Secondly, you are saying that the problem is one of processing, or as you put it, %u201Cfiltering%u201D. That is not very far from what I myself was saying. I suggest that in the future, instead of jumping in and insulting someone, you might actually research what it was that they were saying.
