Dyslexia/dispasia and discrimination

sorry, i am dyslexic and this, like all forums, has no speel check. I would type it into word, then check spelling and then post it here, but that would take to long. Besides, many counties have diferent spellings of diferent words, i myself have been crisisizesd by americans for using "wrong" spelling when i know i have checked it and my spelling is corect. i find no-one understands the dificulty of dyslexia and i find people who critisize my disability without knowing me anoying bigots. it just spelling for gods sakes. Why critisize. i hate it.is this normal?

You're lucky there is a such thing as spell check!
Back in the day I had to use a book called The Dictionary.

I am aware of the European spellings, for instance color and colour. Favorite and Favourite. I would never correct anyone with that.

But I also have dyslexia and I think that if I am capable of taking the time to go back and read through what I write so that other people can actually understand what I am writing so can you.

I find misspellings very irriating and distracting. I can handle a typo here and there, but when it is every other word, it is distracting, and then I don't even bother to read the rest of what you wrote.

fuck social norms, fuck spelling. isn't the purpose of language to communicate effectively. So why the fuck does it matter how you spell shit as long as people understand what you're saying.

im at university got really good grades at school and i can learn vasts amounts of information in a short amount of time, if it is taught in the right way. but i cannot spell at all.no matter how hard i try to learn most spelling i just forget them, so this is why i my lowest gcses (english school qualifications) were in english ( A and a B) as for learning another language that would just be impossable for me. but my spelling does tend to get better with practice. all i have to say is just because people have Dyslexia/dispasia does not mean they are dumb and they should not be discriminated against, even a lot of famous people have it.
