why dose everyone say it is inapropreat to have sex unless you are 18 or older. god starts puberty at a serten age so boys can produce sperm and girls can become pregnent. am i the only one that thinks this am i normal

Because young kids don't know how the handle the responsibility that comes with sex. They think it is all fun and games until one gets pregnant, or an STD or whatever. Then most young kids don't know what to do so they don't go to their parents as they should and it just gets worse from there.

Sweetie, you shouldn't be allowed to have sex until you learn how to spell. I am sure that spelling comes before sex education in any school system. Plus, questions end in question marks. Please get educated both in english and sexual activity.

Moi is spot on, it is about responsibility, not about the maturity of the body.

Legally, the ages of consent vary by state and country, it isn't always age 18 that is legal, often younger. The reason for these laws is intended to protect underage people from being manipulated, lured into an act that the authorites believe they are not regarded as mature enough to handle the consequences..... such as pregnancy, disease, emotional attachments that follow intimacy. I've posted this link before, you may find it interesting. These ages do not say it is safe to have sex whatsoever, only that it is NOT illegal in their locale.
