Is It Normal?
What do you think?
Concentration Loss
I used to be really good at focusing on a problem and working on it until it was solved. Now, though, I keep on losing my concentration, getting distracted, or switching to another easier problem because this one is too hard. Also, once I know how to solve it overall, I stop there without working through the details. It's like a bad case of hyper-multitasking...

Normal? Advice appreciated.

Hello?
Is this my boss? Maybe you have something going on in your life that's keeping you from concentrating; maybe you are bored, overwhelmed, or exhausted (like him!) If this is my boss, you better get cracking on that project because I am not working overtime today!

It's completely normal, most people do it. It's a pain in hte ass when they leave it up to you to finish though, so if there are other people involved think about them before you rush off to the next big thing.
You could possibly have Adult-onset ADD, and distractibility and trouble focusing can be a symptom of depression, which you should check into if you have other symptoms as well.

welcome to my world
Could be adult onset ADD as mentioned above, or it could be the onset of Bipolar Disorder.

I'd see a psychologist.
