Really? You know that it is very expensive to do that, though. You'll have to make arrangements well in advance. Do you get frozen BEFORE you die or right AFTER you die? I've always been kind of confused about that. And do they freeze your entire body, or just your head? I don't think I just want to leave a bodyless head behind, would you?
I'm going to bookmark this site because I found the information quite interesting. However, I can't help but question a science that advertises the advantages of vitrifying your brain in the hopes that future physicians may be able to reverse damage done by disease or trauma by regrowing a young, healthy body around the repaired brain of a cryonics patient rather than devise separate repair strategies for all the different organs and tissues of the body. What kind of progress are we making in that area, I wonder? It seems a little premature. But who knows what will happen in this field in the next 30-40 years...
But think about this. You'd be coming back to a world in which all of your friends and family would probably be gone. And technology might be greatly advanced, requiring you to relearn many things. I wonder what that would be like...
