Is It Normal?
What do you think?
really irregular periods
I know it can't be normal, but I wanted to find out if any other girls can relate...

I'm 16 almost 17 and i first got my period when i was around about 12 or 13. I'm not a hundred percent sure but I don't think i've ever had regular periods. My periods where initially perhaps about 6 months apart and when they came they would be extremely heavy. At the time however I though it was just normal for periods to have been that heavy because I had never experienced a "normal period" (even now I havn't). I think i may have had once two periods that were in a normal cycle but they were still really heavy and then they would only return to being months apart. Yet recently my periods have become the opposite. They are no longer months apart but it has not stopped for months. They are no longer but are always there and my period has being going for over two months now...

Please note that I am a healthy person of normal weight. I eat normally and I am also quite fit and excercise quite a bit but everyone who i know that is fitter and does more sport than me has regular periods and they have similar eating habbits as me so i am certain that my problem has nothing to do with anything like that.

What's wrong with me? Is this normal at my age? And can someone please give me helpful comments.

Irregular periods through adolence are common before your periods get on a normal schedule. You could have a hormonal imbalance. You really should make an appt. with your doctor to have this checked out.

It is normal. My periods did not balance out till I was 19.5
After my puberty was over, it was like I had been freed from a zoo, or something. I had a full thatch of pubic hair, I was on top of the world! I was a Pro Chowder-Hound! Free to roam about, unAshamed, like a bull moose.
There comes a time in a young girl's life when she just has to grab life by the balls...this is your time, Sister!!

'Go,' METHane? I sure wish this was a 'practice what you preach' situation.
In response to the post; don't worry about your periods being funny, simply instruct them to straighten up, fly right and be serious. Besides, the only reason it's called P.M.S is because 'Mad Cow Disease' was taken. Consider donating it to your local blood drive, I'm sure they'd be thrilled.
May I suggest simply inserting a large goose-down pillow, and all your troubles will be over.
Avoid Minnesota though, the mosquito is their state bird.
Peace.
When you have your periods, does a little baby come out too? Or maybe just a few baby parts, such as tiny feet or faces? Could be that sex is interefering with your Aunt Flow.

I would highly suggest seeing a gynocologist. I had a friend who had this problem, and birth control pills can help to maintain a normal, lighter period.

Is it OK to have sex with large pregnant women? And also I try to dislodge their embryos and replace them with my own, which by the way, tear themselves out with their freakishly large heads. Total bloody blow-out.

I also want to create my own army by impregnating, with said method above, as many single, loose, mothers as possible.

I dream big, fellow humans.
You really need to be seen by your family doctor or ob/gyn because you might have amenorrhea (absence of menstruation) or a hormonal imbalance. ...See a doctor right away.

See a doctor. It could be due to a number of different factors. Trust me, life is easier with a normal cycle!
