How much would you pay for a 4 ft. ceramic Halo 3 statue of the Master Chief? I'm thinking about putting it on Ebay- but I am not sure for how much. This statue is very rare and in great condition. What would you say?
I'd have to know more about it. Is it a limited edition, is it painted, how detailed is it, who designed it, is it authorized by Bungie Studios or XBox, etc. I have a real soft spot for Master Chief, and I'd love to have one. But details, details...
Yeah, me either. I'm still having a BUNCH of back pain. Almost set to go to the hospital, maybe. Called the doctor earlier. It sucks!! Taking more pills, I guess. Maybe I should do my own home surgery; do you think? ;-)
KNUCK! Master Chief is awesome! Haven't you played Halo 3 yet? It's really incredible. Not that I'm any good at it, but I really enjoy watching others play it. The storyline is outstanding as well. You really should give it a try some time.
Mostly mental ;-) But occasionally, they migrate elsewhere. At the moment, it MAY be a pinched nerve in my back. Unfortunately, my HMO is putting off the MRI for another eight days, so I'm sitting here clenching my teeth and popping narcotics like Candy Corn. It pretty much sucks.
It is a limited item. About 3-4ft tall, painted, and its a light ceramic type of material. Its in great condition and I am unsure of who its made by. I'm thinking maybe xbox but I am honestly unsure.
Well, if you do put it on Ebay, put another post here to let us know. I really may be interested in bidding, once I see an image. I find Master Chief to be one of my favorite gaming characters of all, and I love watching my son play the game. Are you in the UK or elsewhere, and have you decided on a price range as yet?
It is actually my boyfriend's statue but he was thinking about making some good money off of it, since it is rare. So he's looking for the best offer at this moment. If you give him a good price- I have no doubt in my mind that he wouldnt be up to sending it to you. I live in Rochester, NY- US. You? And how much are you willing to offer?
Gotta see it, dear :-) See, it's probably best if you do put it up for public auction in a place like Ebay. That way, everyone's covered -- you can get your money safely, I get a chance to have a good look at what you have to offer, I can read a detailed description, etc. It's really hard to make an offer going back and forth like this and honestly, I'm no expert on collectibles whatsoever. I'd really have to see it, see what others are bidding, see if it's really authorized by Bungie or XBox, and go from there. Sorry if this seems kind of anal retentive, but on a clerical's salary, I don't have money to burn on this kind of stuff -- it would be mainly a gift to my son, anyway.
