I am worried that, as a consequence of the internet, people around the world are cheating their way towards professional qualifications. I was on Facebook earlier and I saw a student request help for an assignment. It is so easy nowadays to copy/e-mail ‘great or otherwise’ pieces of work to many people across the globe.
It’s a real shame that society has dramatically gone downhill over recent years. Peoples’ morals are in decline and poor behavior, selfishness and violence are on the increase.
I work in a hospital in the UK and I am alarmed at the poor standards in speech, writing and grammar seen and heard these days.
I think that the UK standards that used to be very good are now in severe decline, perhaps due to the unprecedented influx of both foreign staff and patients alike.
Too much demand on the health service, coupled with poor training and education of its employees, make the health service in the UK a dangerous place to live and work.
A message to all students out there…. do your own assignments/research, stop cheating and strive to be good, honest citizens.
