The Giants defense were just unbelievable they put the pressure to Brady and that was what won the Giants the game. 18-1 I think that is something to be damn proud of.

First off how can you compair a team from the 70's to a team that plays a 19 and 20 game season now days? The Patriots are better then the dolphins in their perfect season they surpassed them before the play offs started. It was a different game back then and any puke (Al Gore supporter) that comes on here glad that a record that was set by men who couldnt play one down in this mans NFL is just someone who does not know a damn thing about the game.

To the poster.... How are you shocked? I knew when the Giants beat my bucs in the first round of the playoffs that they were the hottest team in the NFL even hotter then the patriots were. Look at their away record. When I picked them to beat the cowboys everyone laughed at me and when they did nothing was said and when I said they would beat Farve in Greenbay everyone said I was nuts and what did they do? They beat Farve it was never written in stone that Farve was destined to play Brady in this super bowl those things have to be earned not just given so yep no one said anything when they won and no one gave them a chance to win this game... Anyone who kept track of the end of the season knew this game was going to be a dog fight that was going to be brought down to a one score lead at the end and when a game ends like that its anybodys game not just the Patriots game no matter what.

The Patriots started their slide against the Ravens they really lost that game and everyone knew it if not for the Ravens calling time out so anyone who says "they are un beatable" is dumber then a bag of rocks because if anything that game showed that yes the all mighty Patriots could loose. Especially when they are playing a team with an awesome defence. Look at how close all their games leading up to the super bowl were... This is no shock..

Still what they did this year is field the best team of all time and this super bowl loss should not tarnish the season one bit. Sometimes I think its better to loose the first game of the year so everyone can just shut the fuck up about "going undefeated."
