does this happen often

Ok, so i wrote songs for an album called pessimist:the album the songs told a story of my rejections and looking for acceptance in ones heart, I wrote the songs about how i was feeling at the time which was lonely, sad, depressed, heartbroken, rejected and even suicidal at times. However now i dont feel like that and i dont feel like singing the songs i wrote anymore (i sing at school) because i'd be faking emotions, and its always easier when you feel that way to sing a certain mood, i want to know what you think of this and if its normal for that kind of thing to happen where you write songs and feel different thn u dont want to sing em cos u dont feel so bad now?
Do you think it's normal?

Im more of a sex Q&A sort of guy
If the songs held meaning at the time of writing, they still hold meaning now. The fact that you no longer actually feel the way you did during that period of your life doesn't detract any from the words, feelings or songs.

I see no reason for NOT still singing them along with any new ones your write. That's how people move on. Mix-n-match and move forewards but NEVER forget what took you to that place you are at now. You will be much richer and wiser for those memories and even stronger with the knowlege that you actually walked the walk and came through it unscathed!

Good luck.
curt cobain already wrote that crap back in the 90's.we dont need another CD about how dark and gloomy life is.
yeah like I care i mispelled the name of a little goofy 3rd rate musician who doped and whined all the time and finally with 10 million dollars in the bank blew his face off.big fucking deal he was----one of the most over rated rockers EVER!
