The short month of February has come. I myself have been busy travelling the country for business and personal matters. I enjoy travelling from one place to another. Not having attachment issues makes it easy to just pick up and leave, and then re-establish yourself in a new place. I have met many new people, and have also developed a better understand on how various people operate. In many ways humans are very mathematical, all you need to know is the right formula in order to connect with someone. To do this, it is first imperative to knows how to read people in order to crack the human psyche. Once you can read people, you can calculate your chances of achieving your goal with someone, be that manipulation, sex, love, or financial gain.
Try pulling your pubes?
As a child I had this problem.

I'd twist my hair until it knotted and then pull the knot out.

It is something that a lot of people suffer from. I was lucky that growing up I had learned a lot about how to use one's self control and one day I got so tired of it that I told myself I had to stop....and I did.

Same with fingernail biting. I used to bite my nails until they bled and then one day I decided I couldn't do that to myself anymore and I just stopped doing it.

I know that using self control does not work for everything and that different people need different levels of help, but it's at least one possibility you can try.

If you can't do it on your own, you need to reach out to someone like your parents and allow them to help you.

And don't be embarassed about telling your parents. They want to be a part of your life even if it is something as simple as helping you through a rough time.
It is more difficult to go through something like this alone than it is to tell someone about it.
