I'm kind of an ass, but I have to correct duracell. In order to have OCD you have to exhibit acts of compulsion that somewhat inhibit your ability to carry on life as normal.

Being obsessed with something is not the same thing at all. It is kind of bad.

Consider yourself lucky in situations, At least you make the attempt and you over achieve but..it is a disorder still. If you don't like it, take meds. It's 100% normal, just cus not many people do it doesn't mean it's wrong or abnormal.

you have obsessive compulsive order, you should watch MTV's "true life" episode that features three different people who have OCD, they go to a conselor that helps them to stop their habits. if you cant do it by yourself, go see a docter/therapist. i have waaay minor ocd (i have to step over each crack in the street with alternating feet, if i step over a crack with my left foot twice i have to step over a crack with my right foot twice. it is one weird disorder

But that doesnt have to be bad. Albert Einstein was pretty obsessed with his theories. Just try to put your obsession into something useful. If you feel you dont have enough control over your obsession you should seek help.

Yeah this is obsessive compulsive disorder. You should try doing unsymetircal things. I used to do it a lot as a kid, where I'd have to scuffle one foot if i scuffled the other, or if I banged my arm, I'd have to band the other one just the same.

It does happen to other people. It's called obsessive compulsive disorder. A friend of mine in highschool did the exact same thing... Except, she used to gouge the freckles out.

I don't recommend you use her methods, though. Have you considered getting counselling'
