Bi female here as well. I shave because it's more comfortable, or at least get down there to trim just so the area looks neat. It just feels and looks so much better than a thick fur muff like the kind you see on French girls. It cuts down on odor and mess, too.

At any rate, do what makes you comfortable! If you want it smooth, wax or shave (although if you shave, NEVER go against the grain!). Trim it if you just want it to look and feel a little nicer -- if a guy complains after you've gone through the trouble of trimming the bush, chances are you wouldn't get along with him anyway.

I think you should do whatever makes YOU most comfortable. I would definitely do the wax thing vs. the shave thing though - no stubblies, longer results... I love pubic hair on a woman, the darker the better. Actually, if I have any say in the matter, I prefer that my brunettes not shave or trim at all, especially if they have dark labia, and that blondes and redheads be shaven smooth. That's just a matter of preference, though. Whatever you choose, there's no need to be embarrassed about your sweet little body when you're with a guy. It's rather unusual for a guy to be so picky about your pubic hair that he wouldn't sleep with you (or sleep with you again) because of it.
