I'm male, 28 years old and have never had a real girlfriend. I've had two relationships: one lasted a week and the other two. The last one was 5 years ago.

I go out quite often to bars, pubs and nightclubs where it seems I am pretty much invisible. I am not a monster, I've been told by friends, some of them female, that I am quite good looking. I'm not fat either. 6ft tall and 185lb

I have no confidence to approach girls and this gets worse as the years drag on. I feel I am destined to be one of those people who remains single for the rest of their lives.

Don't worry about it, have a few drinks, start chattin to girls get a few numbers dont be scared cos by the sounds of it, it cant get much worse anyway!! if you really cant do that you could try a dating site

dude i know what you mean I have all these girls telling their friends how hot i am and all that shit but when I want a real relationshio they run away from it it seems that women these days dont want to be together just want the fuck and thats it

Don't despair, try a dating website such as EHarmony. I've heard of several matches that have really worked and it will hook you up with people who are matched with your personality/traits. Drop the bars, pubs, clubs and nightclubs, they are frequented by party goers who are more often not serious about having a close friendship, more one night stands. If the website idea is not to your liking, you can always join clubs that interest you and meet women that way. Do not date just one woman, make sure you date several and be open about it to each one from the start, don't mislead any of them. When you find someone who interests you moreso than the others, zero in on what you like and cut off the rest, just be tactful, honest, and respectful. They are picking and choosing, so should you.

Tell me one thing,when you go to these nightclubs,do you actually approach any girls or just wait for them to come to you?
Use Dutch courage if you have to,but start approaching people in these places,besides,what other way is there?
