That's all very well and good if you consider that the whole point of religion is to con people into thinking that their existence serves some grand purpose and that there is some amazing afterlife blah blah blah when there's no actual hard proof of this. The only real reasons this outmoded concept was invented in ancient times when people really didn't know about anything about anything was that they needed some nice convenient excuse to explain their existence and keep them from being c*nts. So all things considered from a more reasoned point of view, when you die you're f*cked so of course immortality is the way to go (unless you get sick of all this sh*t of course).

1 year ago i would have written a similar comment to most of these, religion is bullshit..... no afterlife...... blah blah blah... but something proved to me, 100 per cent, that there is something after this, or people who leave here go somewhere else. most people who dismiss these things are people who dont know anything about it, or simply dont understand it. my life has completly changed since i have researched this subject, things that have happened in the past now make complete sense. you do not want to stay here forever, there is much better beyond. this is a kind of hell. im not trying to preach to anyone, i dont give a fuck what anyone thinks or does, but if your open minded look into it, it might change your life!!!

I was raised a christian and used to be very spiritual. I'm an atheist now. Immortality might get boring. Maybe I'd like a longer life than average maybe 150 or something but sometimes I'm pretty sick of this shit hole already. Although I would quite like to see if humans make it into a star wars type future and people have light sabre duels and space dog fights or we have robots with AI and cool sci-fi stuff. That'd be awesome.
