when im bored i like to bite my nails then i proceed to use my nails as dental floss even if there isnt anything in between my teeth is this normal?

Nail biting
I have been nail biting since I was five years old and I suffer from depression. I have tried and tried to quit but you can use all these gimmicks but in the end it has to begin in the head and end there.
